We are currently recruiting for a skilled Electrical Technician to join a growing engineering team, with a strong focus on control panel wiring. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in neat, accurate wiring and can confidently interpret technical drawings to deliver high-quality builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels to engineering drawings and schematics
• Interpret and work from electrical diagrams, layout drawings, and wiring schedules
• Carry out point-to-point wiring, looming, and cable termination to a high standard
• Install components such as relays, contactors, PLCs, and terminal blocks
• Perform basic testing and fault finding on completed panels
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with relevant regulations
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace and follow health & safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in electrical panel wiring or a similar role
• Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings (essential)
• Good knowledge of electrical components and control systems
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) preferred
