We are working with a secondary school seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join their team. The main focus of the role will be delivering Food Technology, with some flexibility required to assist or cover lessons in Design Technology (DT) or ICT when needed.

Contract: Perm / Temp To Perm if needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Food Technology and enjoys working as part of a supportive department.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Support or cover lessons in DT or ICT as required
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum
• Maintain a safe and well-organised classroom and practical learning environment
• Support pupils’ progress and engagement in lessons

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
• Strong background in Food Technology (this is the main priority)
• Ability and willingness to cover or assist in DT and/or ICT where required
• Good classroom management skills
• Flexible, reliable, and confident teaching across subjects when needed
• Experience in a secondary school setting preferred
