Primary Teacher (KS1) - Eastbourne - Maternity Cover

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Eastbourne for a KS1 class on a full-time maternity cover basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher looking to make a real impact in Key Stage 1 within a supportive school environment.

Role Details

• Position: Primary Teacher (KS1)
• Location: Eastbourne
• Contract: Full-time, maternity cover
• Start Date: September
• Year group: KS1 (exact year group to be confirmed)

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging KS1 lessons
• Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working closely with teaching assistants and school staff
• Assessing and tracking pupil progress in line with school expectations

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required
• Experience teaching in KS1 preferred
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passion for early primary education
• DBS certificate required or willingness to obtain one
