Year 4 Teacher – Long-Term Position Until July

Location: Plymstock area, Plymouth
Contract: Long-term | Full-time (5 days per week)

We are seeking a committed and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Plymstock area. This is a long-term, full-time role running until July, offering the opportunity to take a class through to the end of the academic year.

This is a full teaching post, so applicants must be confident with all aspects of the role, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking.

The Role

• Full-time teaching of a Year 4 class (Monday to Friday)
• Full responsibility for planning, preparation and assessment
• Creating and maintaining a calm, purposeful and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and senior leadership

Essential Requirements (Non-negotiable)

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent Key Stage 2 experience, specifically in Year 4
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Confident classroom presence with high expectations for behaviour and learning
• Ability to commit to five days per week until July, although would consider 3 days for the right candidate
