KS1/KS2 Teaching Assistant – North Sheffield
Location: North Sheffield
Start Date: ASAP or after Easter half term
Pay: £90–£110 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Hours: Full-time or part-time

We are currently recruiting dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a range of supportive primary schools across North Sheffield.
The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you may be required to:
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
Deliver targeted interventions in phonics, reading and maths
Support small group learning activities
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Support pupils’ social and emotional development
Roles may vary depending on the needs of the school and are available on a long-term basis, with both full-time and part-time options.
The Ideal CandidateHas previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
Holds a relevant TA qualification (Level 2/3 desirable but not essential)
Is confident supporting learning across KS1 and/or KS2
Has a patient, proactive and flexible approach
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
