I am currently working with a really supportive nursery in the centre of Leeds that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their welcoming team.

This role is ideal for candidates who want flexibility, strong team support, and an environment where their work is genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care to children
  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging, child-led activities
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s learning and development
  • Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A valid DBS check, or willingness to obtain one
