A leading Sunday Times Top Track 100 company and one of the UK’s fastest-growing privately owned retailers is seeking a proactive and organised Sales and Operations Assistant to join its busy Head Office team in Plymouth.

The Role

Working within a fast-paced department, the successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to both Head Office and store teams. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking and working collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting and entering departmental data accurately
• Checking and logging accident reports
• Processing forklift repair quotations
• Processing engineering reports
• Monitoring and logging weekly and monthly Health & Safety reports
• Processing PPE orders
• Coordinating Health & Safety training requests
• Liaising with stores and Head Office colleagues regarding Health & Safety matters
• Supporting the Health & Safety Manager with general administration duties
• Providing first-line support for retail store queries
• Creating and administering users on in-house systems
• Producing and communicating various operational reports

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous retail administration experience or a strong understanding of retail operations
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative approach with the ability to build strong working relationships
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
