Are you seeking a family run, local organisation going through a period of sustained growth? A local SME business is seeking a Finance Manager with operational oversite to overhaul processes, improve procedures and manage day to day operations.

Responsibilities

As a Finance Operations Manager you will be responsible for –

  • Taking ownership of day-to-day financial operations, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Supervising key finance activities including ledgers, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
  • Working closely with the Finance Assistant to deliver smooth weekly and monthly finance cycles
  • Coordinating with external providers to support the production of management accounts
  • Creating clear financial reports to support operational understanding and decision-making
  • Supporting effective credit control and resolving payment-related queries
  • Maintaining robust financial procedures and contributing to continuous improvements

Requirements:

As a Finance Operations Manager you will need –

  • Proven experience operating at a senior level within a finance function
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, controls, and reporting fundamentals
  • A track record of improving processes and implementing efficiencies
