Technician - Production

Location: Medway
Salary: From £35,000 + DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Rotating shifts

We are seeking an experienced Production Technician to support efficient, high-quality manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for running and maintaining injection moulding machines and other machinery, carrying out tool changes, monitoring quality, and supporting smooth production flow across shifts. This is a varied, hands on role working closely with colleagues across departments to deliver operational excellence and a strong customer-first focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain moulding machines and other machinery to meet production and quality targets

• Carry out tool changes and minor maintenance to minimise downtime
• Monitor product quality and resolve processing or tooling issues
• Support team leadership, training, and shift handovers
• Maintain 5S standards, accurate documentation, and a strong health & safety culture
• Assist with stock control, deliveries, and packing-area as required

About You:

• Must have experience working with injection moulding machines and carrying out tool changes

• Strong understanding of quality, health & safety, and production processes
• Confident decision-maker with a positive, resilient, and hands-on approach

• Forklift licence held or in-house experience would be an advantage
