They are looking for a part time procurement officer (22.5 hours) and are flexible to how that is structured on a weekly basis.

Description

• Support the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring adherence to public sector regulations and policies.
• Assist with supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring to achieve best value.
• Prepare and manage procurement documentation, including tenders and contract agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide suitable solutions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide guidance on procurement policies and procedures to internal teams.
• Contribute to achieving sustainability and cost-saving goals within the supply chain.

Profile

A successful Procurement Officer should have:

• Experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within the public sector.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in preparing and managing procurement documentation.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £39,000 per annum depending on experience.
