Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant

Wade Macdonald are currently working with a growing organisation and they are recruiting a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant for an initial short-term assignment based in Didcot. About the Job

This role will support the finance function with the day-to-day processing of supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

Duties will include:

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
• Preparing supplier payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Handling invoice and payment queries from suppliers and internal teams
• Supporting month-end finance processes
• Maintaining accurate records within the finance system

About the Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have previous accounts payable experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced finance environment. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage workloads effectively are essential.
