We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Wealth Management & Financial Planning Paraplanner to join a highly regarded financial services organisation. Working within a collaborative environment, the Wealth Management & Financial Planning Paraplanner will support Financial Planners with research, financial modelling, and client portfolio analysis.

As a Wealth Management & Financial Planning Paraplanner you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning services, including suitability reports, investment research, pensions analysis, and compliance documentation. You will contribute to delivering tailored wealth management solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise in financial planning, cashflow modelling, and regulatory compliance, while supporting client meetings and maintaining accurate CRM systems and workflows.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Wealth Management & Financial Planning Paraplanner include:

• Financial Planning Support: Assist Financial Planners with research, analysis, and preparation of client financial plans
• Suitability Reports: Produce detailed, compliant financial planning and investment reports
• Cashflow Modelling: Analyse client circumstances using financial planning tools and forecasting software
• Investment Analysis: Conduct research into funds, pensions, and investment products
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are met
• Client Support: Assist in client meetings and provide professional communication via phone and email
• Workflow Management: Manage pipelines and ensure timely delivery of financial planning services
• CRM & Systems: Maintain and update back-office systems and client databases
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with Financial Planners and Client Relationship Managers

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL:

• Diploma Level 4 qualified in Financial Planning or working towards completion
• Strong knowledge of wealth management, pensions, investments, and financial services regulations
• Proven experience in financial planning support, report writing, and client documentation
• Excellent analytical, research, and financial modelling skills
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
• Proficiency in CRM systems, data management, and Microsoft Office

DESIRABLE:

• Advanced Diploma (Level 6) or working towards Chartered or Certified Financial Planner status
• Experience with cashflow modelling tools such as Voyant or Timeline
• Experience within wealth management or independent financial advice environments
• Understanding of investment strategies, due diligence, and compliance frameworks
