About the Role:

As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and ensuring all pupils make strong progress. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development
  • Contribute to school life, events, and enrichment activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
  • Strong subject and curriculum knowledge
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Experience in primary education (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
  • Knowledge of phonics and early reading (preferred)
