We’re seeking an enthusiastic FinanceAssistant to join a well-established organisation based in Leeds City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid finance experience who is looking to progress and take on new responsibilities.
The RoleAs a Finance Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of the finance team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
Preparing and reconciling bank transactions
Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs
Handling supplier queries and reconciling statements
Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
Maintaining petty cash and credit card records
Assisting with management accounts and reporting as required
General finance administration and ad hoc tasks
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (minimum 2 years)
AAT qualification (Level 2 or above) or equivalent experience
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
A proactive approach and a willingness to learn
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
