We are currently seeking passionate and committed Qualified Teachers (QTS) to join our growing team of educators working across a wide range of secondary schools in Derby.

About the Role

As a Secondary Teacher working with our partner schools, you will:

Teaching & Classroom Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across your subject area (all specialisms welcome).
  • Adapt teaching materials and strategies to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
  • Maintain strong classroom management to ensure a positive, safe learning environment.
  • Mark work, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support the wider learning experience by participating in school activities where required.


Working with the School

  • Work collaboratively with department staff and school leadership teams.
  • Follow school policies, behaviour systems, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive approach to teaching
