Barnham Broom Hotel, Spa & Golf Club is a well-established and highly regarded hospitality and leisure business. We are now looking for a Management Accountant to own the day-to-day finance function, reporting directly to the CFO.

The business is growing and the finance function is being modernised with new accounting systems, better reporting and cleaner processes. You’d be getting involved at the right time to help shape the future of the finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong management accounting experience who enjoys working closely with the wider business. You will have real responsibility and room to develop the role as the business evolves.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns and intercompany accounting
• Divisional P&L ownership and analysis
• Supporting annual budgets and reforecasting
• Supporting cash flow management and reporting
• Assist with audit preparation and liaison
• Payroll processing

About you

• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA
• Strong attention to detail and comfortable working independently
• Advanced excel skills and automation
• Proactive and someone who takes ownership of their role
• Hospitality or leisure experience is useful but not essential
