Assistant Management Accountant
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum

About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment, and wants to build a career in finance.
In this role, you’ll support the Senior Management Accountant, the IT & Transformation team, and the wider business, helping deliver accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and strong budgetary control.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting month-end close processes, including:
- Accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
- Accurate posting of revenue and costs
- Performing P&L variance analysis and investigating key drivers
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and re-forecasts
- Producing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
- Responding to financial queries from business stakeholders
- Supporting reporting for IT costs, including REVEX overheads and Capex
- Identifying improvements to reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Building strong working relationships across Finance, IT, Commercial teams, and external stakeholders
- Delivering ad hoc analysis and reporting as required

Skills & Experience
- Strong Excel skills (essential)
- Studying towards (or keen to start) AAT, CIMA, or ACCA (a study package will be included in the role)
- Knowledge of accounting systems and financial processes
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Essbase) is advantageous
- Highly numerate with strong analytical ability
