Data Consultant (SAP Data Migration)

Location: Hybrid
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonus

We are currently supporting a growing consultancy that is looking to bring in a Data Consultant with strong technical foundations and the ambition to develop into a broader data-focused role over time.

This position will initially focus on supporting a large-scale SAP programme, working closely with business users on data migration activities, before expanding into wider areas including data analysis, governance, and transformation initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Support data extraction and transformation activities from legacy systems into predefined templates
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify, resolve, and improve data quality issues
• Support users through data validation cycles and Go-Live activities
• Collaborate across business and project teams during SAP data migration initiatives
• Gain exposure to broader areas including data governance, analysis, and transformation programmes

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience within data-focused positions
• Experience with Python, SQL, Power Query, or similar transferable technologies
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable operating in business-facing environments
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Desirable

• SAP exposure
• Data migration experience
• Experience working on transformation or ERP-related projects
