Conveyancing Paralegal | Gloucester

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic Paralegal to join a modern, fast-paced, and supportive property team with genuine long-term career development opportunities.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Fee Earners within a collaborative and service-driven environment, assisting on a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, and remortgages.

You will be supported by a wider team of Fee Earners, Legal Assistants, and Property professionals while gaining valuable hands-on experience within a respected and growing firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the management of residential sale and purchase transactions under supervision
• Handling your own caseload of files with appropriate support and oversight
• Updating clients, introducers, and third parties on the progress of matters
• Raising and responding to enquiries
• Reviewing and interrogating legal documentation and responses
• Preparing detailed reports for clients
• Assisting with pre-exchange, exchange, and completion matters
• Ensuring exceptional levels of client care and service delivery at all times
• Maintaining files accurately and ensuring matters progress efficiently

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience within a law firm environment, ideally within residential conveyancing or property law
• Understanding of the residential sales, purchases, and remortgage process
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Able to manage workloads effectively and work under pressure
• Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths essential
• Law degree (ideally 2:1 or above) or equivalent legal qualification desirable, though not essential
