Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing’s Skilled Shop Floor Team have been exclusively retained to support a leading manufacturing business based in Sheffield.

This site is easily accessible just off the Sheffield Parkway and is a well-established, high-volume production facility specialising in injection moulding and precision-engineered components. Operating within a highly regulated industry, the business runs multiple moulding machines and associated processes, producing complex, high-quality parts for a demanding customer base.

They are now looking to recruit an Injection Moulding Operative. While experience in a similar role is advantageous, they are also keen to hear from individuals with transferable skills from other manufacturing environments.

Role: Injection Moulding Operative
Working hours: 2 shifts
Week 1 – Monday to Thursday 6:00am – 4:00pm
Week 2 – Monday to Friday 8:00pm – 6:00am
Hourly Rate: £13.50 + 12.5% shift allowance

Overview of the role:

• Supporting the injection moulding process by preparing and finishing moulded components
• Using small hand-held tools to remove excess material from parts
• Working with high-precision, small, and intricate components
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure components meet strict standards
• Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
• Managing your own workload and working towards production KPIs

Requirements:

• Previous experience within injection moulding or a similar manufacturing environment is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
• Comfortable carrying out repetitive, hands-on tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting
