A growing, purpose-led organisation is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support its finance function during an exciting period of expansion and transformation.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will support day-to-day financial operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash & Banking, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payment runs
• Raising sales invoices and managing customer account queries
• Monitoring outstanding payments and supporting credit control activities
• Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash records
• Supporting month-end processes, audits, and financial reporting
• Maintaining accurate financial documentation and ensuring compliance with internal procedures
• Assisting with finance projects and process improvement initiatives

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger, or Sales Ledger role
• Experience across AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
• Study Support is available
