Our client, a fast-growing independent estate and lettings agent, are looking for a Full-Time Lettings Negotiator to join their busy Exeter office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly reputable local business during a period of expansion.

The Role

As a Lettings Negotiator, you will support the Manager and Property Manager, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the lettings portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and responding to enquiries
• Registering and vetting applicants
• Carrying out viewings and delivering excellent customer service
• Negotiating tenancies between landlords and tenants
• Preparing tenancy paperwork and ensuring compliance (certificates, references, utilities)
• Booking property inspections and appraisals
• Drafting renewal paperwork and Section notices
• Logging maintenance requests when the Property Manager is unavailable
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords
• Supporting the Manager in identifying opportunities to grow portfolio income
• Staying up to date with lettings legislation and best practice

About You

• We’re looking for someone with drive, personality, and a strong customer focus
• At least 6 months' lettings experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisation and multitasking ability
• Confident, proactive, and detail-focused
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence required
