Conveyancing Legal Secretary East London Full-Time Salary Dependent on Experience
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join a busy and well-established residential property team based in East London.
This role is ideal for a highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys providing high-quality support to fee earners while delivering excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
Audio typing and preparation of legal correspondence, emails and documents
Drafting and amending conveyancing documents from dictation
Managing file opening and closing procedures
Handling incoming calls, client enquiries and message management professionally
Monitoring post and emails, responding where appropriate
General administrative support including photocopying, scanning, printing and arranging couriers
Assisting with billing processes and liaising with accounts departments
Requesting cheques, arranging bank transfers and processing client monies
Preparing legal documents including:
Lease extensions
Deeds
Completion statements
Land Registry forms
Using the Land Registry Portal efficiently and accurately
Providing reception cover when required
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within Conveyancing/Residential Property
Strong audio typing and document production skills
Excellent communication and client care skills
Confident handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workloads and work proactively within a busy team
Experience using the Land Registry Portal preferred
