RG Consultancy are pleased to be supporting an excellent organisation based in Wigan who are looking for a strong Accounts Assistant to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is reporting into the Finance Manager and will be joining a team of 5 within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions
• Responsible for all purchase ledger duties, manage and maintain the purchase ledger
• Processing invoices (including stock and overheads)
• Processing employee expenses
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month end journals
• Manage the accounts inbox
• Perform data entry and general administrative tasks
• Provide general office support as required

Person Specification:

• Experience working in an SME environment is essential
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Working Hours:

• 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility on start and finish times (office based)
• 22 days holiday per year + bank holidays
