A friendly, well-organised school in Turves Green is looking for a reliable, hard-working Cleaner to join their site team. This role suits someone who takes pride in keeping environments clean, safe, and welcoming for pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and wiping down surfaces
• Emptying bins and managing waste safely
• Replenishing hygiene and cleaning supplies
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is used and stored correctly
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the Site Manager
• Working independently and as part of a supportive cleaning team

? What the School Needs

• Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and work efficiently
• Basic understanding of health & safety and COSHH (training can be provided)
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
