Working Nights 4on4off-6pm-6am

Job Description

Managing daily truck operations and managing the smooth flow of Ground Network Services shipments through the network.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow

· Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system

· Optimizing route planning and truck utilization

· Interact with our customers (internal and external) in arranging their shipments, meeting customer service standards.

· Contribute to and maintain a good relationship with suppliers

· Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations.

· Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity

· Ensure all standard operating procedures in place

· Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedures

· Timely communication

· Escalation of problems to Management when necessary

Qualifications

· Previous Roadfreight experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

· Effective interpersonal skill

· Pro-active, strong organizational skills

· Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

· Fluent in English

Salary c£36,500 including shift allowance based on experience
