Senior Crypto Trader (5+ Years) – Global, Remote

We’re partnering with a leading global cross-asset trading firm—active across delta-one, derivatives, and digital asset markets—to identify an experienced Crypto Trader to join their high-performance trading team. With over 15 years of institutional trading pedigree and a world-class technology stack, this firm operates across EMEA, the Americas, and APAC, providing liquidity, treasury solutions, and advisory services to a global client base.

The Role

As a Senior Crypto Trader, you’ll take ownership of trading strategies across spot and derivatives markets, with a strong focus on market-making, risk management, and identifying inefficiencies across global venues. You’ll operate in a fast-moving, 24/7 market landscape, collaborating closely with quant, tech, and treasury teams to refine and execute high-impact strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute and manage trading strategies across spot, futures, perpetuals, and options markets
2. Provide liquidity and contribute to market-making across major exchanges
3. Monitor market structure, order flow, and pricing anomalies to capture opportunities
4. Manage real-time risk within established frameworks
5. Work with quant and engineering teams to enhance models, tools, and execution systems
6. Develop and iterate on data-driven trading strategies
7. Build and maintain relationships with exchanges, brokers, and liquidity partners
8. Support the continued expansion of the firm’s digital asset trading capabilities

What You Bring

1. 5+ years of trading experience, with significant exposure to crypto markets
2. Deep understanding of market microstructure, liquidity dynamics, and execution strategies
3. Hands-on experience trading across major venues (Binance, Deribit, CME, OKX, etc.)
4. Strong risk discipline and ability to perform under pressure
5. Proficiency with trading tools, APIs, and data analysis (Python or similar a plus)
6. Strong quantitative and analytical mindset
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, collaborative environment

Preferred

1. Market-making or prop trading experience
2. Familiarity with algorithmic or systematic trading
3. Background in quantitative finance, engineering, mathematics, or related fields
4. Understanding of cross-asset relationships (FX, equities, commodities vs crypto)
5. Experience within a top-tier trading firm or hedge fund
