Owen Reed is looking for a Legal PA to join the Dispute Resolution team specialising in International Construction at a top international law firm in London.

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Legal PA within a highly regarded Dispute Resolution team specialising in International Construction. This Legal PA role will support Partners and fee earners working on complex, high-value international construction and engineering disputes, and the Legal PA will play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of a fast-paced and collaborative practice. The Legal PA will provide high-level administrative, organisational and case support, and the Legal PA will be expected to work proactively across multiple priorities. The Legal PA will also work closely with other Legal PAs, and the Legal PA will contribute to seamless client service delivery across the wider Dispute Resolution department.

Key Responsibilities


• Managing diaries, meetings and schedules for fee earners within the Dispute Resolution International Construction team

• Coordinating complex domestic and international travel arrangements including visas, itineraries and accommodation

• Supporting client onboarding, compliance checks and new matter opening processes

• Managing inboxes, prioritising urgent correspondence and supporting fee earner workload management

• Producing, formatting, bundling and proofreading complex legal documents and case materials

• Preparing electronic and hard copy bundles, exhibits and document schedules for hearings and cases

• Supporting billing processes, financial administration and reporting using internal legal systems

• Attending meetings, taking accurate minutes and tracking follow-up actions

• Supporting Business Development activity including events, conferences and client engagement

• Liaising with clients, Counsel, experts and external stakeholders

• Ensuring accurate electronic filing and maintaining internal systems and records

• Providing wider team support and covering other Legal PAs where required


Skills & Experience Required


• Previous experience working as a Legal PA within a Dispute Resolution or litigation environment

• Strong experience supporting Partners and senior fee earners in a fast-paced legal setting

• Excellent organisational, diary management and time management skills

• Strong document production, proofreading and case preparation experience

• Excellent written English, grammar and attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook essential; Excel and PowerPoint advantageous)

• Experience with legal systems such as iManage or Elite 3E is desirable

• Proactive, resilient and professional approach with strong teamwork skills
