Sharp Consultancy are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Credit Controller to join a busy finance team based in Castleford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and is available to start next week.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Chasing overdue debt via phone and email.
• Resolving invoice and payment queries efficiently.
• Allocating cash and reconciling accounts.
• Reducing debtor days and maintaining a healthy cash flow.
• Liaising with internal teams to resolve credit issues.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

About You

• Previous experience in a Credit Controller role is essential.
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in accounting/ERP systems and Excel.
• Sage 200 experience is desirable.
• Available to start immediately or within one week.
