Field Sales Representative

Here at Aztec UK we supply the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Europe with a wide range of Master Flash roof and pipe flashings, as well as powder coated fixings. Due to heavy workload, we are looking to employ a new Field Sales Representative for our office.

Successful candidates must: be reliable, professional, punctual and willing to travel for work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Field-based

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: From 30.000 GBP/year

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Present, promote and sell products/services either through in-person meetings, phone calls and e-mails, using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Market research and reaching out to potential customers
  • Build and maintain sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Conduct regular face-to-face client meetings
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries and keeping records of customer interactions, meetings, transactions, comments, and complaints as well as establish new customer accounts and record account information, like phone numbers or e-mail addresses
  • Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions – product training after recruitment
  • Interact with customers to solve issues and questions about products and services
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Willing to travel a lot, ideally 4 days in the field, 1 in the office
  • Proven B2B sales experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Good selling, presentation, negotiation and communication skills as well as prioritizing, time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly self-motivated, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • General education required or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Driver’s license and own car – preferred
