Description

• Take ownership of a portfolio of non-food products, driving commercial delivery and performance
• Lead supplier negotiations, securing competitive pricing structures and added value opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver category initiatives and promotional activity
• Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent service and quality standards
• Review market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for range enhancement

Profile

A successful Non-Food Buyer should have:

• Experience in a buying, procurement, or category role within non-food sectors (e.g. packaging, catering supplies, janitorial or cleaning products)
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of negotiating and delivering value
• Confident managing supplier relationships and driving performance improvements
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both internally and externally
• Highly organised with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities
