Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured, and creative lessons for Year 5 pupils
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching outcomes
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to continually strengthen teaching skills

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching within Year 5 or Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Confident in differentiating lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Possesses a solid understanding of the national curriculum and modern teaching practices
  • Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable using technology to support and enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
