The Opportunity: Nigel Wright Group is delighted to have been retained by a growing industrial client, to lead the search for a General Manager for its multi-site UK business. The Company manufactures, operates a distribution network, and also provides installations and aftermarket products and services. It operates on a multi revenue stream basis in the UK and is a highly autonomous subsidiary of a larger group. This will be a highly autonomous and strategic role and the scale of the UK operation in the SME zone.
Role Profile:
Reviewing the structure and operating model of the UK business, to streamline the cost base and improve the overall business operating marigns.
Oversee all business functions across, operations, sales, and support functions.
Working with the sales function to define the commercial strategy for growth, with a focus on driving the higher margin revenue streams.
Strategic account management of key account OEM customers.
Person Specification:
A B2B industrial sector background (could be industrial products or industrial services, or a mix).
Strong appreciation of operations, finance and commercial.
Multi-site, multi cost-centre, multi P & L experience.
