We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Hailsham. This temporary position is set to start immediately and will initially run until the end of the academic year. Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to promote student achievement.
• Implement and adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the teaching practice and share resources.
• Participate in school meetings and events, and contribute to the school's ethos and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven ability to teach science subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Strong understanding of the current curriculum and educational practices.
• Effective classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues.
