Job Overview

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Music on a temporary, part-time basis (0.6 FTE). This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school, where Music plays an important role in the wider curriculum.

The successful candidate will teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 7–11), delivering engaging lessons that inspire creativity, confidence, and a love of music in all students.

This role would suit a passionate teacher who enjoys working with students of varying abilities and who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a qualified teacher (or working towards QTS) with strong subject knowledge in Music
• Have experience teaching Music across KS3 and KS4
• Demonstrate the ability to plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
• Have high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour, and personal development
• Be a strong team player who contributes positively to the wider school community
