A well-established engineering and design consultancy is seeking an Interim Talent Manager to join for an initial 6 months during a period of ongoing growth and change to manage full end to end recruitment lifecycle.

Our client is a well-established engineering and design consultancy operating within the civil and structural engineering space.

Description

  • End-to-end recruitment delivery, initially focusing on core engineering roles
  • Hiring across civil and structural engineering functions, including senior and mid-level engineers
  • Supporting the delivery of graduate and internship programmes and market engagement activity
  • Supporting the development of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
  • Improving people processes, consistency and efficiency
  • Supporting internal engagement initiatives and events

Profile

You are a confident, highly autonomous Talent professional who can step into a business and add value from day one. You are comfortable taking ownership and making decisions, with the credibility to operate independently while partnering closely with senior stakeholders.


  • Proven experience in a hands-on Talent role, ideally within engineering, consultancy or professional services
  • A strong and experienced recruiter, confident managing end-to-end hiring processes across specialist, technical or hard-to-hire roles
  • Comfortable owning recruitment delivery, removing day-to-day pressure from the Head of HR and HR Manager
  • Able to embed fast, bring structure where needed, and make a visible impact within a short timeframe

Job Offer

  • Salary up to £55,000, with flexibility to engage on a day rate or hourly rate, depending on experience and references
  • Interim role for an initial 6 months, with a strong likelihood of permanent conversion
  • Flexible working model: 3 days onsite, 2 days working from home
