We are working with a well-established food manufacturing business that is committed to delivering high-quality products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. They are now looking for a proactive Food Safety Systems Controller to join their Technical Systems team.

As a Food Safety Systems Controller, you will play a key role within the Technical Department, supporting the site's food safety and quality management systems. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the internal audit programme, updating and monitoring the Internal Hold Log, and overseeing the Shelf-Life Management System to ensure product compliance and accuracy. You will also control the Positive Release process, ensuring only compliant products are approved for distribution, alongside maintaining Certificates of Conformance (COC) and Certificates of Analysis (COA).

The role will also involve supporting internal food safety initiatives, participating in customer audits and traceability exercises, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement across the site.

This opportunity would suit someone with experience within food manufacturing who is looking to take the next step in their career. The business would consider a QA looking for more opportunity, a Technical Assistant, or a Specifications Technologist who has the right attitude and work ethic. Strong knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP, and technical compliance would be highly beneficial, alongside a proactive mindset and the ability to work collaboratively within a busy environment.

The role is Monday to Friday with flexibility around start and finish times.
