Academics are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Eastbourne on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children's learning and development within a nurturing school environment. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the primary age range, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.

The Role:

• Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom
• Working with pupils of varying abilities
• Providing one-to-one and small group support
• Helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation and activities
• Supporting children's social and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for education
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
