Are you an experienced Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal with strong new build conveyancing experience? This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected Residential Property team where new build transactions are a core part of the workload.
We’re looking for someone with ideally 2+ years’ experience in Residential Conveyancing, ideally with hands-on exposure to new build plot purchases, developer liaison, and early-stage onboarding. If you thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and want to develop your expertise further, this role offers genuine progression and ongoing training.
The Role – New Build Conveyancing
- You will play a key role in supporting fee earners and ensuring the smooth progression of new build residential property matters.
- Acting as a professional first point of contact for clients, developers, brokers and third parties
- Managing new build client onboarding, including ID checks, proof of funds and early-stage transaction progression
- Assisting with file opening and supporting junior team members when required
- Working within InfoTrack (training provided)
- Preparing completion statements
- Handling LISA and Help to Buy ISA withdrawals
- Managing NHBC warranty portals and new build-specific documentation
- Completing Local Authority, Chancel and other pre-exchange searches
- Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms and Land Registry applications
- Supporting fee earners with general administration
- Contributing to team KPIs and maintaining excellent client service standards
Senior Conveyancing Assistant - Requirements
- Strong experience in new build conveyancing or residential conveyancing with new build exposure
- A confident, friendly and professional communication style
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
- Experience supporting multiple fee earners
- IT confidence, with case management experience desirable
- A proactive, reliable and client-focused approach
