RG Consultancy and happy to be supporting an excellent and growing business based in Barrowford who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their small friendly team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this Accounts Assistant role will be responsible for performing a range of day-to-day accounting tasks and supporting with month end processes.

Duties include:

  • Processing purchase ledger invoices
  • Processing sales ledger invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Making and taking payments
  • Assist with credit control
  • Support on month end close processes

This Accounts Assistant role would be suitable for someone with experience in a accounts office and they would also support the right candidate with study (AAT).
