We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Reading from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the potential for KS5 depending on experience), within a supportive and forward-thinking department committed to high standards and student success.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge learners of all abilities
• Plan and assess effectively in line with curriculum expectations
• Contribute to the continued development of the Maths department
• Support students in achieving excellent outcomes
• Play an active role in the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• A commitment to raising achievement and delivering outstanding teaching
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
