MedicsPro is a leading healthcare workforce and staffing provider supporting NHS Trusts and private healthcare organisations across the UK.

As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Insourcing & Healthcare Services Division to support healthcare providers with elective recovery, backlog reduction, diagnostic services, clinical staffing programmes, and operational workforce solutions.

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to help grow this division nationally.

The Opportunity

This is not a standard recruitment sales role.

We are looking for somebody with experience within healthcare services, NHS partnerships, insourcing, diagnostics, elective recovery, or healthcare operations who understands the pressures facing healthcare organisations and can build long-term strategic relationships across the sector.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, building NHS and private healthcare partnerships, and helping healthcare organisations improve clinical capacity and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with NHS Trusts, private hospitals, and healthcare organisations
  • Identify opportunities across insourcing, diagnostics, elective recovery, and clinical workforce solutions
  • Arrange and attend meetings with senior operational and clinical stakeholders
  • Generate new business opportunities through relationship-led business development activity
  • Support service proposals, tenders, and framework discussions
  • Work closely with operational and recruitment teams to support mobilisation and service delivery
  • Maintain awareness of NHS operational pressures, waiting list challenges, and healthcare market trends
  • Represent MedicsPro professionally within the healthcare sector

About You

  • Previous experience within healthcare business development, insourcing, diagnostics, healthcare staffing, or healthcare services
  • Strong understanding of NHS structures and operational environments
  • Existing NHS or private healthcare relationships desirable
  • Commercially driven with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident engaging with senior healthcare stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, organised, and proactive
  • Able to work within a fast-paced, operationally focused environment
