Support and Service Administrator

  • Contract Type: Temporary (Until the end of March)

  • Salary: £15.49 per hour PAYE

We are seeking a proactive and professional Support and Service Administrator to provide essential IT support services. This role involves managing and progressing complaints, problem resolutions, and escalations with third-party suppliers and service providers. Additionally, the role includes systems administration for key business applications, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of changes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as the first line of escalation for complaints and issues, liaising with third-party suppliers to support the resolution of incidents.
  • Review service desk data to identify trends and recommend service improvements.
  • Provide IT advice and guidance to colleagues, either remotely or desk-side, to resolve problems and promote effective IT usage.
  • Manage system administration for business-critical applications, including SharePoint Online and case management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with change control mechanisms and maintain high standards of data accuracy and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Foundation level IT qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in systems administration, including managing user permissions and system templates.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online and case management systems.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of IT change management processes and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of relating to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
