Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 basic + £50,000 – £70,000 OTE


About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent estate agency in Exeter, renowned for delivering exceptional customer service and holding a strong reputation as a local market leader.

Our client is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and driven Sales Negotiator or Senior Negotiator / Valuer to join their successful team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct property viewings with prospective buyers
  • Booking and carrying out market appraisals (training can be given)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
  • Provide detailed feedback following viewings
  • Handle incoming enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Register and qualify applicants
  • Liaise with vendors, buyers, and solicitors throughout the sales process
  • Deliver exceptional levels of customer service
  • Proactively generate business through property “phone outs”

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous and current experience in estate agency
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
  • Strong motivation and a results-driven mindset
  • A genuine passion for the property industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong administrative and IT abilities
  • Professional, polite, and well-presented manner
  • Honest, reliable, and self-motivated attitude
  • Good local knowledge of the Exeter area and live locally in Exeter

Our client can offer

  • Competitive basic salary (£28k–£30k)
  • Realistic OTE of £50k–£70k+

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (early finish on a Friday)
  • One Saturday half day per month
