maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

We are excited to announce a vacancy for a Shift Engineer at our facility. This role is ideal for a qualified Electrical Engineer who is ready to join a successful team and contribute to our operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Operate on an eight-hour, three-shift basis across 24 hours, Monday to Friday, with additional holiday cover and overtime opportunities.
• Perform maintenance tasks with a right first-time approach using DMAIC problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve issues.
• Demonstrate expertise in handling AC/DC motors and drives, interpreting electrical/pneumatic schematic drawings, and understanding mechanical core elements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification gained through an apprenticeship or practical learning course.
• A minimum of 5 years maintenance experience, which can include time spent as an apprentice/trainee.
• Qualified to a minimum NVQ 3 in a Maintenance discipline.
• Experience in a production manufacturing environment, ideally with fault finding and electrical repairs for industrial equipment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team on maintenance improvement projects.
• Experience in the corrugated/printing/packaging industry is preferred but not essential.
