About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 4 and 5. You will contribute to the continued development of a rigorous and engaging curriculum that enables students to develop strong analytical, financial and commercial awareness, preparing them for further study and the world of work.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a passionate and reflective practitioner with strong subject knowledge in Economics and/or Business Studies
  • Has high expectations of student behaviour and achievement
  • Is committed to delivering excellent teaching and raising student outcomes
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources
  • Promote critical thinking, enterprise skills, and real-world economic understanding
  • Support enrichment, intervention, and extracurricular opportunities
