Senior Marketing Specialist, UAV, Drone Systems

IT Search & Select

Join one of the UK’s leading UAV innovators and help shape the future of uncrewed aviation.

We’re a fast-growing UAV technology company based in London, developing next-generation aerial platforms, autonomy systems, and mission-ready solutions for defence, industrial, and commercial clients. As we scale, we’re looking for a Marketing Specialist who already understands the UAV sector — someone who can translate complex technology into compelling stories, campaigns, and market presence.

The Role

You’ll own and execute our marketing strategy across digital, events, content, and product positioning. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the UAV landscape, understands the buyers, and can communicate the value of advanced drone systems with authority.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and deliver marketing campaigns for UAV platforms, autonomy software, and mission-specific solutions
  • Create high-impact content: product briefs, case studies, whitepapers, videos, and technical explainers
  • Manage digital channels including website, LinkedIn, SEO, and targeted advertising
  • Lead our presence at industry events, demos, and exhibitions (e.g., DroneX, Farnborough, AUVSI)
  • Work closely with engineering and sales to position products accurately and competitively
  • Build market intelligence on competitors, regulations, and emerging UAV trends
  • Strengthen brand identity across all touchpoints
What You Bring
  • Proven experience marketing UAV systems (mandatory) — ideally drones, autonomy, robotics, aerospace, or defence tech
  • Strong understanding of UAV buyers: defence, public safety, inspection, energy, logistics, and industrial sectors
  • Ability to translate technical features into clear commercial value
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, analytics, and content creation
  • Confident communicator with excellent writing skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, engineering-led environment
Nice to Have
  • Experience with autonomy, BVLOS operations, or UTM ecosystems
  • Background in aerospace, robotics, or defence marketing
  • Familiarity with CAA regulations, SORA, or operational authorisations
Why Join Us
  • Work at the forefront of UAV innovation
  • Influence how cutting-edge technology is positioned and adopted
  • Hybrid working with a central London base
  • A culture that values creativity, precision, and impact
