An excellent opportunity has arisen for an NQ + Family Solicitor to join a well established Yorkshire practice in their Brighouse office. 

This role offers a varied and high-quality family law caseload, with a strong focus on private family matters, alongside a small, manageable amount of legal aid work. You’ll be joining a well-regarded, supportive team with a strong reputation in the local market.

The Role You will handle your own caseload of family matters, including:

• Divorce and separation
  
  
• Financial remedy proceedings
  
  
• Private children matters
  
  
• Cohabitation disputes
  
  
• A limited amount of publicly funded family work
  
  

There is genuine scope to develop your experience and progress your career, with support from experienced colleagues.

About You

• NQ Solicitor + 
  
  
• Experience in family law (gained through training contract, paralegal work or post-qualification)
  
  
• Comfortable undertaking advocacy, including attending court where required
  
  
• Confident managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
  
  
• Strong client care skills with a practical and empathetic approach
  
  
• Keen to develop and progress within a busy and well-regarded family team
