Universal Wood Products Ltd producers of Primed MDF Mouldings seek a operative within our business .To learn all aspects of the production and factory areas .Mainly working after full training on the priming line aspect of our production . Learning how to set and operate the priming and infra red drying tunnel also assisting in the packing preparation of finished production ready for despatch from the factory.

Some lifting involved as primed MDF profiles are 5 Mtrs in lengths and a certain level of fitness is required for this particular role . The mouldings are not heavy but need to be packed in stacks on some occasions.

Assisting in the factory preparing customers orders for collection - assisting in the further processing deprtment where mouldings are cut to customer order and then pre packed to pallets

The successful applicant would be trained to operate a fork lift to a level where they would after training gain a personal fork lift licence.

We produce Architraves - Skirting - Windowboard and many other moulding profiles all supplied to the building and timber merchant sectors . The working environment is very friendly with required PPE supplied ie Boots , Gloves , Dust Masks if and when required . Our business operates with a full and current Environmental Health Certificate in place issued by Havering local authrity

Mon to Friday - 8am to 5 pm - Breaks through the day - 30 minutes lunch from 1 pm

Fridays - Close early at 4:30 pm

Starting Salary :- £ 12.90 per Hr Plus attendance bonus of £ 1.00 Per Hour based on the completion of a 40 hour week and no lateness ( = £ 13.90 per week based on 40 Hour week )
