We are seeking a Technical Manager to work within the Cementation design team. Cementation Skanska is a total foundation engineering company with more than 100 years of experience delivering internationally recognised piling and ground engineering solutions. We are industry leaders in the design and delivery of complex foundations, working across infrastructure, energy, commercial and major project sectors. The role will involve working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver designs that fully comply with all relevant technical standards, as well as health, safety and environmental requirements. The position will also support innovation, quality, and continuous improvement across our engineering processes.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for leading and promoting technical excellence both internally and externally.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Consultants and Clients.
  • Evaluate and integrate client requirements into solutions that prioritise health, safety, welfare and sustainability.
  • Support and mentor less experienced members of the team, engineers and graduate engineers.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Good working knowledge of health and safety and environmental legislation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of common geotechnical & structural design software packages (e.g. Wallap, Oasys suite, etc.).
  • Excellent working knowledge of Eurocode and British Standards.
  • Good understanding of materials and construction methods and processes.
  • Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology degree (Bachelors or Masters)
  • Registered Ground Engineering Professional or Specialist.
